SUMMARY:2026 GTI Charity 100 Rounds of Sparring
DESCRIPTION:The GTI ‘100 Rounds of Sparring’ charity event will be held on Sunday 10th May\, 12:30-15:30\, at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre in Shropshire (please note: venue has changed from Hinckley). \n  \nAll students are welcome to take part in this friendly and fun event. Fancy dress is optional (but encouraged)! \n  \nChallenge yourself to complete 100 x 1 minute rounds of sparring; or\, if you prefer\, sign up to complete 25\, 50 or 75 rounds of sparring instead. You can also opt to complete 25\, 50\, 75 or 100 minutes of patterns if sparring isn’t your thing. It’s all about challenging yourself for a good cause. Get some valuable training done and raise funds at the same time! \n  \nThis year\, we’ll be supporting Mind\, the mental health charity. To donate and support our team’s efforts\, you can sponsor them in class or online here. \n  \nIf you’d like to take part\, pick up a sponsorship form in class or download here. \n  \n  \n \n  \nIf you do not wish to raise sponsorship but would still like to attend\, then a £20 fee will be charged which will go to the GTI’s chosen charity (Cancer Research UK).

SUMMARY:GTI Charity 100 Rounds of Sparring 2025
DESCRIPTION:On 22nd June\, our students will be taking part in a gruelling taekwondo event: 100 Rounds of Sparring! Participants will have to survive 100 rounds of taekwondo sparring (or 25\, 50 or 75 rounds for juniors) or up to 100 minutes of patterns. The bravest will even do it in fancy dress! \nThis is likely to be very sweaty and extremely hard work! So please dig deep and sponsor our efforts. It’s for a very worthy cause. We are raising funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool\, which almost had to close down in 2024 before it was saved by overwhelming support and a ton of donations from the public. \nZoe’s Place provides specialist care for very ill babies and their families.
