DESCRIPTION:On 22nd June\, our students will be taking part in a gruelling taekwondo event: 100 Rounds of Sparring! Participants will have to survive 100 rounds of taekwondo sparring (or 25\, 50 or 75 rounds for juniors) or up to 100 minutes of patterns. The bravest will even do it in fancy dress! \nThis is likely to be very sweaty and extremely hard work! So please dig deep and sponsor our efforts. It’s for a very worthy cause. We are raising funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool\, which almost had to close down in 2024 before it was saved by overwhelming support and a ton of donations from the public. \nZoe’s Place provides specialist care for very ill babies and their families. How many kicks can YOU do in an hour? \nThis fun kick-a-thon event will take place during the usual two-hour Tournament Training class (start time approx 10.30am). There will be no lesson fee for those raising sponsorship; anyone not raising sponsorship is still welcome to take part\, with their lesson fees going into the fund for our World Championships team.
