Favourite things about taekwondo:<\/strong>
I like most aspects of taekwondo, particularly pad work (hitting things is very therapeutic)! I also love the team spirit within the club and in the GTI – especially at tournaments, where we all cheer each other on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Benefits of taekwondo:<\/strong>
Learning to push myself beyond my expectations, and not giving up so easily when the going gets tough.
Feeling fitter, stronger and more confident.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Future taekwondo goals:<\/strong>
At the moment, just to carry on training and competing for as long as my body lets me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Career highlights:<\/strong>
Representing England at international tournaments in Rimini and Budapest as Captain of the GTI Ladies Team.
Winning silver in sparring at the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships and gold in sparring at the 2007 World Taekwondo Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
