Well done to our team! There were some tough fights at yesterday’s GTI English Open, but everyone dug deep and put the work in. Lots of improvement all round. Medal tally: 4 gold, 5 silver & 3 bronze.
Well done to Max and Zach (competing at their first tournament) and William (only his second tournament) for getting on the mats and having a go. The experience you’ve gained will make you even better for next time!
A special shout-out to Rod for smashing his first time in the adult category after turning 18 only a few days ago! He sustained an injury in the first round and still managed to win his first two bouts, going on to an impressive final battle against an experienced opponent. A debut to be proud of!
