Our team did us proud today at the OMA Welsh Championships in Wrexham!
We had 21 students taking part and they absolutely smashed it, winning 39 medals: 16 gold, 13 silver & 10 bronze!
Well done to all our medal winners, and to Luis for a really good effort in all his events. A big shout-out to our first-time competitors – Hugo, Shay & William – for getting stuck in and giving performances to be proud of.
Thanks to everyone who coached and supported our team, and thanks to OMA for another awesome tournament.
CONGRATULATIONS to our club’s newest Black Belt grades!
Athika Kadar, 1st Dan Rod Hizmeri, 2nd Dan Owen Gargan, 2nd Dan.
All three students were put through a tough grading yesterday by the GTI panel. We’re very proud of their hard work and dedication to training in the run up to the grading, and this shone through on the day. Solid performances from everyone.
Well done to all our fighters, including Raza and Tess, who missed out on the medals but were both amazing. A special shout-out goes to Elise, who was competing for the first time. She made it to the play-offs in patterns and won gold in her sparring category!
Whatever your results, be proud of what you’ve achieved and always try to think of something you can improve on for next time.
Thanks to everyone who helped out with coaching, officiating and supporting the team.
We had a big team of 28 taking part in the T-UK English Championships in Manchester, and they won a total of 31 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver & 8 bronze! Lots of great performances to be proud of, regardless of medals.
Special shout-out to Liam D for overcoming his nerves at his first ever tournament, winning gold in sparring!
Many thanks to our fantastic team of coaches and supporters, and thanks to Mr Miley and the team at T-UK for hosting the event.
Well done to our team! It’s been a LONG day at the ITFU British Championships, and the heat was insane! But we’re really proud of how everyone held it together to perform.
Our team of 13 competitors won 14 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver & 7 bronze.
Well done, everyone! Thanks as always to our coaches and cheering squad.
