What a team! 🥊🙌

This lot were absolutely brilliant at the North West Championships yesterday! Everyone got stuck in and gave it their best. Our 12 competitors came away with a haul of 20 medals: 12 gold, 4 silver & 4 bronze! 💪

A special shout-out to Tess, who did really well in her first ever competition 👏

Well done also to Joe, who put in a great effort in the patterns but unfortunately couldn’t stick around for the sparring.

So many performances to be proud of! Well done, team. Smashed it! 👊

RESULTS: 2023 North West Championships

If you’ve never achieved a black belt, you probably don’t know exactly what it takes to earn one. As well as the years of training, there are always many challenges: physical injuries, frustrations, self-doubt and lack of confidence, to name just a few.

Today, six of our amazing club members overcame those challenges and demonstrated that they truly have what it takes to be taekwondo black belts

Amelia Fowler – 2nd Degree Black Belt
Connor Murphy – 2nd Degree Black Belt

Another successful day at the office! Our team of 8 competitors won 15 medals at the ITC Northern Open on 26th March: 4 gold, 8 silver & 3 bronze!

RESULTS: 2023 ITC Northern Open

Our team had a fantastic day at the OMA Regional Championships in Deeside on 26th February. Our team of 13 fighters absolutely smashed it, winning 23 medals: 14 gold, 6 silver & 3 bronze!

RESULTS: OMA Regional Championships February 2023

Well done to our team for another solid performance at the T-UK English Championships!

There were some tough fights and some tough decisions, but our fighters got stuck in and did us proud, as always. The team won 14 medals in total: 4 gold, 5 silver & 5 bronze

A special shout-out to Dominik and Morgan, who were competing for the first time. They both showed a lot of courage in stepping onto the mats, and they both sparred well against more experienced opponents. Well done, lads

RESULTS: 2023 T-UK English Championships

Our team made a great start on the year’s tournaments at the GTI English Championships yesterday! 

There was a lot of tough opposition, but our team of 11 fighters did us proud, winning 15 medals overall: 6 gold, 5 silver & 4 bronze 

A special mention to Joe, who performed really well in patterns and sparring, only losing out in the sparring by a single point; and to Liam, who fought well to win silver in sparring at his first competition 

Congratulations also to Callum, who was awarded GTI Competitor of the Year 2020-2022 in Boys Patterns 

We’d also like to say how much we appreciate our coaches Connor, Nicole, Callum, Rob & Deb, for their amazing support of the team before, during and after the competition. And, of course, all the parents and supporters who cheered everyone on!
