2026 North West Junior Tournament

Venue: Blackburn Central High School, Haslingden Road, Blackburn, BB2 3HJ.

Cost: £25 for all events.

This event is open to all licenced students (INCLUDING white belts) aged up to 17.

The ‘bears’ category is for 5-7 year olds and they’ll do speed kicking, high kick and sumo sparring rather than ‘real’ sparring (although 7 year olds can choose to do proper sparring).

Then there’s normal sparring, patterns and speed kicking for the 8-17 year olds. The plan is to do continuous sparring for blue stripes and up, point-stop sparring for white to green belts.
