>>> Class Cancellations
At the end of this month, All Souls Church Hall will be closed for flooring refurbishment for a full week. This will be from Monday 30th October, with classes resuming on Monday 6th November. Apologies for any inconvenience.
>>> Class Payments
Our classes operate on a pay-as-you-go system. Please either pay by cash in class, or if you are paying online, please try to do so on the day that you attend training (or you can pay in advance). Keeping track of missing or late payments is not our favourite thing to do, so please make your payments on time. Thank you 🙂

- Sunday 22nd October – OMA Regional Championships, Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity to have a go at competing if you’re inexperienced, plus it’s a rare chance to compete close to home!

Train with 4 Taekwondo Masters in a single day! Benefit From their expertise in patterns, kicking development, and self defence. Open to all members age 13+.

Please note that instructors & coaches may not be able to attend all events; however, students are still very welcome to attend. Please familiarise yourself with all the rules and ensure that your licence is valid before entering.
>>> Tiger & Colour Belt Gradings
The next Tiger and Colour Belt Grading will be held on Saturday 9th December at All Souls Church Hall. If you want to grade, please attend classes regularly (ideally, at least twice per week) and make sure you know all the theory and practical requirements for your grade (as specified on your revision sheet). Please pick up your revision sheet in class if you haven’t already or find them online here.
Please remember that in order to grade you will need:
- An up-to-date licence (£25)
- White GTI uniform & belt (£39 – not needed for Tiger grades)
- Passport-sized photo (if grading for the first time)
- Grading fee (£10 for Tigers; £25 for those taking grades up to blue belt; £35 for higher grades)
- Sparring kit (green belts & above).
>>> Merchandise Orders
Get your Christmas orders in ASAP! 🎄 We place our equipment and merchandise orders once per month. Please let us know if you need any uniforms, t-shirts, hoodies, sparring kit, kick pads, etc. Please take a look at our catalogue to see what’s available.
The deadline for this month’s orders will be Saturday 28th October (payment required at time of order).
>>> GTI Squad Training
All licenced students (age 7+) are welcome at GTI National Squad Training. You will have the opportunity to train with some of the GTI’s best fighters and coaches; practise with new sparring partners; improve your fitness, stamina and sparring; build your confidence; and make friends with fellow GTI students from around the country.
Give it a try and see how far you can go! Regular attendees may even get the chance to represent the GTI England team at international competitions.
Fees are £10. Please bring casual clothing (no uniform required), sparring kit and plenty of water.

>>> Awards Evening – Saturday 6th January 2023
Save the date! Come and celebrate another successful year for the club. This will be our first party since COVID disrupted everything, so it’s long overdue!
The party is scheduled for the evening of Saturday 6th January at Hollies Hall, Hollies Road, Halewood, L26 0TH.
Eat your fill from the buffet, grab a drink at the bar, and join us for presentation of the highly anticipated annual Student Awards. Award categories will include: Taekwondo Tiger of the Year, Most Improved Student, Best Newcomer, various Competitor Awards, and more!
Cost: £6 per person / £20 family of four (pay in advance or on the day). Friends & family welcome.
